Looking for a good panfish sunny/crappie lake in the area that has some decent ice to get out on. Anywhere from brainerd, nisswa, over to crosslake. Theres going to be alot of ice by the weekend, so wondering where some of the smaller lakes are at. And if anybody wants to go, let me know, I have everything except an auger, so anyway, fish on.

I'm new to the area but I saw people fishing on the west side of Round and N Long, just off of 371. I assume they were fishing panfish.

mudpig: sibley lake in pequot did really well for me last year, all year long we caught crappies in front of the boat landing in the "hole". caught a few nice largemouths next to the island and the last time out my son and i limited out on bluegills, in fact the smallest one we caught was 8 in.! biggest was 11!! i'll be out there this weekend for the panfish, if you happen to wander out this way, i'll be the one with the silver toyota 4runner,easy to spot since it;s the only one around with a soft top.green jacket ,green bibs, yellow hat. good luck!
