Comming up to LOW in 26 days and counting. Whats the water clarity for the Aqua-Vu like out of Zippels? Or should we stick to the Vexilar?

I don't know if it has ever been clear enough to use aqua-vu along the south shore.

In my limited experience of LOW- the US portion is too loudy for an aqua-vu. Someone can surely correct me if I'm wrong, but the first couple I went up I attempted the VU. Now I stick with a Vex.

Out of the people I know here, and my opinion go with the vex.

leave the camera at home and bring the vex.the camera might be decent in the shallows but you need a very bright day and no snow on the lake.

I've helped with a few outdoor show footage on LOW and can tell you the only time we can see more than a 2 feet is in late March when the water gets alot clearer. Thats why until late March to April we have a great bite @ nite. Otherwise its a banker lake in winter 9 to 5. Wish I had that shift!
