You could always hit the 'sippi, there's less slush there.

Not one pic?

OK, my avatar is a 28" walleye from the Blue Earth river. I hooked it on the Sunday of the Vikings bye week. It was snowing and the wind was gusting 30-40 mph. there was a mat of leaves in the water that went 1/3 the way across the river. We landed 5 or 6 eyes that day and a nice Channel Cat. Someone post earlyer in this forum to fish Rapidan Dam, the date was dead on for the eye bite.

There were a couple of guys between Carver and Jordan today to. I asked how the ice was, and the reply, "well we're dry right?" grin

I scoped out a couple of my winter spots on Saturday, I am going to wait a little longer before I venture out there.

I didnt eat Friday, Saturday, or Sunday morning that way I was a little safer when I snuck out on Sunday night. :-)
Fished for an hour and a half nothing to show for it. Area that I fished has changed siginificantly. There is no longer a major current break so I dont know if the area will hold many fish. The ice was about 3" where we drilled.
