Hey guys, I'm in the market for a good spotting scope. I'm "hoping" to keep the price under $375 or so.
I've never owned one and am hoping to find some pointers from those of you who use one.
Thanks!!!

I got a simmons (under $175) if I were to do it again and when I do get a different one I will look at either the Nikon or Leuopold ones...nothing wrong with mine just a better image and better light reflection on those IMHO...

I have a Simmons 20x60 and I have to say I leave it at home more times than not. I have hunted with a Nikon 15x45 and would leave that one at home too. Once you turn up the magnification to see what you can't with your binoculars the image gets dark and blurry. I would check them outside at a distance on a cloudy day before spending the money. Good Luck.

Do most spotting scopes come with a window mount or is that something you need to buy separately?
One other thing....anyone have any experience with the Lowrance iHunts? It's either a spotting scope or a Lowrance iHunt handheld gps.
