Hey guys,
I'm in the market for a good spotting scope.
I'm "hoping" to keep the price under $375 or so.

I've never owned one and am hoping to find some pointers
from those of you who use one.

Thanks!!!

CHeck out the leupold green ring sequoia. I've got it, and I like it.

I got a simmons (under $175) if I were to do it again and when I do get a different one I will look at either the Nikon or Leuopold ones...nothing wrong with mine just a better image and better light reflection on those IMHO...

I have a Simmons 20x60 and I have to say I leave it at home more times than not. I have hunted with a Nikon 15x45 and would leave that one at home too. Once you turn up the magnification to see what you can't with your binoculars the image gets dark and blurry. I would check them outside at a distance on a cloudy day before spending the money. Good Luck.

Do most spotting scopes come with a window mount or is that something you need to buy separately?

One other thing....anyone have any experience with the Lowrance iHunts? It's either a spotting scope or a Lowrance iHunt handheld gps.
