I am heading up to some families for christmas and one of my wife's aunt's said Lake Bronson would be a good spot to go. Does anyone know what I could expect to catch or target? I don't need areas, just want to know if it is worth hauling my gear with.

Walleye are o.k. if you can find them, pike of course are in good supply, but I like chasing perch on Lake Bronson. Most are average size 8-9", but you can get into some decent ones measuring 10-13" on the lake. So is it worth it? I say yes! Are you going to catch fish for sure? Nope, but it beats sitting at home...right?
I have had great days ice fishing on Lake Bronson and some pretty poor days. If the fish aren't biting, I would say move, move, move. It's not a huge lake, so you can cover a good deal of it in a day and probably put something together if you really try.
