Just curious if anyone has filled one lately and if so how much did you pay this year? I have been contemplating on going with a 100lber for less refilling reasons throughout the season, if you fill a 100 lber vs say a 20,40lber is it cheaper per pound then?

Really??? Thats pretty reasonable Last year I believe I was paying 25 bucks to get my 40 filled. Seems high to me on my end, where do you have yours filled at?

Brandt's on Mille Lacs charges $85 for a 100 lbs tank brought out to your ice house. I think that's up from $60 last year.

I agree I pay just a bit less that 81 cents @ pound. But I buy from a guy that only sells propane and propane appliances.. And he is not Hank Hill LOL

It cost me $3.17 in gas for the chainsaw and 3 hours of work, logging, splitting and stacking to heat my fish house for the entire winter season.

This is in Brookings, SD. I filled a 100# tank for work two weeks ago for 50 bucks at our local coop. That didn't include tax as a work for the city.

locally up here, propane is 1.49 a gal and it looks like it might go lower, so at 1.49 per gal and 4.25# per gal equals about .35cents per pound.
