Crow Wing ice???

Does anyone know the ice conditions on the 3rd crow wing or any surrounding lakes? I am hoping to come up in a couple weeks, but want to be sure its safe for 2 guys and a portable.

How is ice fishing up on 3rd and 4th? I fish the lakes in the summer, but have never made it up for winter...

4th Crow wing, long lake & Portage lake all had people on them this last week end. I heard Mantrap has 6". Have not been out yet... still chasing deer with black powder.

How is ice fishing up on 3rd and 4th? I fish the lakes in the summer, but have never made it up for winter... I havent done much for walleyes through the ice on the third. Usually we get pike and pannies. Occasional walleye, but never really hit them.
