I just read a story on acorn and hickory nut production on the east coast, and I'm curious: has anyone noticed a change in acorn crops this year?

Depends on where you live and the species. Trees go in cyclical ebbs and flows with fruit production, especially when left to pollinate naturally.

I found that white oaks were pretty sparce this year, but the red oaks had a ton of acorns.

I have 31 white oaks in my yard and there was no shortage of acorns there. Wish I could find a market for acorns and leaves. I'd be a rich man.

Maybe I should give Acorn Rage a call?
