This would be true if and only if they didn't make it past the heaved up ice that goes ~100 yds off shore, and if the ice melted 1.5" by Saturday. When I checked it, with a tape measure, it was 6" at the most and that was piled up rough ice ie. not very strong. After that there was 3" on the south side. Godhal landing had 2.5-3" as well and also some open water. Didn't go to Geiger as I don't fish that area often, but I have heard reports of better ice that way.

I would have to go with a big ol NO on that one.

Heard of some crappies being caught but walleyes are hard to come by, maybe all the pressure in the fall from shore finally caught up with the lake...

Fish the deep water adjacent from shallow using tip up during the day but set you house in the shallow water for the night bite. I did this Tues at gieger landing from 11am to 3 and ended up with 3 eyes and a handful of crappies. I probably had 20 to 30 flags go up, I lost count. Then all the foot traffic set it at around 3 and shut it down. Don't be afraid to set that tip up 25-30 yds away during the day. U would be surprized. If you mean pressure by everyone fishing in the same area all winter long then I would have to agree with that. Anything beyond that I would have to disagree.
