What did you kick or drop down the hole this first weekend out.

I didn't loose a thing, and considering there is a 20 x 46 inch sight fishing hole in my permanent I contribute to the God of the Lake quite often.

I lost my Frabill tip up light. I was picking up my tips at the end of the night ... saw the red flashing light coming from my hole. Thought wow that light really reflects bright off the top of the water in the hole, then realized it was coming from down at the bottom of the hole ... doh!

Only being in about 6 FOW and clear ice, it was cool seeing that hole area blinking red from under the ice. Them Frabill lights blink bright. Should've checked the next day to see if it was still going.

Sure glad those things are relatively cheap.

The wing nut on my tip up came off...and when i went to pick it up to leave, the entire bottom part of the tip up with the spool swished into the hole.

We have the same ne with the 7 inch screen great camera! If the light is not enough buy the aqua view add on light and just zip tie it too your silver weight.

My nephew somehow kicked his vex down a chopped hole (no it wasn't intentional). He was able to reach quick enough up to his armpit in the hole and grab some part of the submerged machine, and amazingly the unit still worked after a day of drying out. My guess is that it will fail at some point down the road.
