Forest Lake had some skim ice, but was spotty. I'm sure it's all gone by now.
Heard that we could get back into the 40's next week.
I'll say, walkable ice 12/4/08...

Why not just rent a 2" water pump and shove the intake into the lake and play fireman and spray the lake down  Now ya got yer Tinkin Cap on...doesn't the Fire Department need a Little Drill in the next couple weeks...pull the Alarm on Rush and Skate Like Crazy...  It might even work if there was a little crust on top...there ya are...Rush is now a Designated Skating Lake...

I saw an ice shack out on South Center Today!! Deitz? Pretty sure it wasn't him. I will be out on Monday on a small area lake. Can't wait to ice the first crappies and eyes.

the channel froze over last night, not sure how much ice, but from the sounds of it Hovermn will be out playing on his "boat"

Checked the channel today only about 3/4 inch of ice and was cracking to beat *%@% when I walked on it. Little Green about an inch and same with the cracking. And I did not go out to see how much ice the 3 guys on South Center were fish on? Going to need a few more cold nights.

insane, its not worth risking your life for a few fish, people need to wait at least 2 more weeks. Whatever floats your boat i guess
