are you sure your looking in MN cuz pretty sure that weather underground says nothing close to that. Anyone want to head out this weekend! Thinking about maybe hitting moose lake.

People do all of us a favor and wait obe more week before going out on the ice. I dont want to here of someone going through and not making it. "I you wait it will come (ICE)"

I checked out some lakes today..most lakes are good to go.

Buffalo froze over last night

Someone was out fishing on the north end of Pelican today.

I would really wondered about the ice thickness.

I actually saw 3 guys out on the North end of Pelican. Two on the ice and one in a portable. I'm curious to know the ice thickness. Considering my size, I think I will wait at least another week before I venture out.

FYI - for those that may not know. There are a couple of new parking areas off of CR 37 on the N end. One close to the popular fishing area and the other just west of there. This should alleviate some of the road crossing.

Yes there are, but keep in mind these are Waterfowl Production Areas, which means no motorized vehicles. You will have to access the lake elsewhere if you wish to drive your vehicle or atv.

i drove past twin today, had nothing, which i still believe these two lakes are the last to freeze in the state.

people are fishing on dan and edwards lake. edward is on co road 37 1 1/2 miles east of co road 5. They are having a hot walleye bit. and dan's lake is 3 miles west on co road 37. about 3 miles west of co 5. but i am not sure what they are getting out there.

I said this last year--

Alot of people view forum sites- I think is good to pass along "some" fishing info and "hot spots", but I think we should also respect those that don't belong to forum sites. These people spent some time searching for and catching fish. Once someone from a forum site catches wind of a hot bite, it is everywhere. Just because we belong to forum site, doesn't mean we can run to a hot bite. We must respect others.
My neighbors are laid off all winter, they tell me where there at and what there catching, but I don't follow them around. I enjoy going out on searching for them.
Just saying-- Please - before you Advertise a Hot Bite- Think about Who told it to you, Who's going to come, and who's fishing may you screw up. I would like everybody to have a successful fishing season, but we can't everything we want, and we have to learn to respect others.
