Everybody was duped into the war, the intelligence reports lead EVERYBODY to believe that they had WMD's and their stubborn leader gave us no other indication. That being said, people voted for the war because they believed it was the right thing to do, they did not vote for it because W said to or to help him. And tell me how many movies will there be in the next 4 years making fun of B-Rock and making him look like an idiot? My guess would be ZERO! The obviously liberal media will do everything they can to fall all over his every word and portray him in the highest light possible, quite the opposite that W had to endure during his term. The fact that Bush and his administration used faulty intelligence, threw Colin Powell to the wolves and deliberately mislead is an urban legend just like Michelle Bachmann's comments to Chris Matthews. She's a perfect representative for the 'new' GOP.

My point was not that Colin Powell didn't publicly support the action, (I cannot see him ever publicly questioning his current Commander In Chief in an ongoing action, in fact he swore not to do so), but that he realized the intelligence was faulty and he was asked to use that intelligence to make the case to the U.N. and the American people i.e. in my words thrown to the wolves. I should have used Cheney's.

He was asked to resign by the Bush Administration. You tell me why. My money is on his ethical issues with what he was commanded to do. He was put in a very dishonorable situation.
