Minutes after I left the house, these power lines caught my attention.

Shorty thereafter, iwas greeted by a dazzling sunrise.

Then I spotted this male snowy sitting on the top of a hydro pole.

I found this old truck kind of interesting.

Last but not least, this flag grass covered in a thick layer of morning frost.

Nice ones, Stu. I especially like the very first one. That's a strong statement of color and pattern.

Thanks gents! Just for the record. All these were captured on my "new" 50D and my 100 x 400mm. I decided to upgrade camera bodies and decided that the 50D was the way to go. So far I haven't been disappointed with that decision.

Stu, that's cool. A big upgrade from the 10D to the 50D. Looks like you're already having fun with the new body! grin grin

LMAO

Nice work Stu, I really like the sunrise and the truck is great too, but how did they park it in all that sugary white sand wink

Congratulations on the new camera Stu! I like that last shot myself, perfect against that dark background.
