Does anyone know the regulations for driving on and or using gas augers on the chain of lakes, ie Calhoun, Harriet? Since you cannot use motorized boats does this apply to winter as well?

I believe you can use gas augers (at least, everyone around me seems to), but you can not drive on the lakes.

Best to check. I have relatives that got tagged on Calhun for a gas auger last year. When in doubt get the hand auger out.

Thanks guys! Lookin forward to gettin out this winter and figuring out the lakes. It's tough when you are getting blown around in a canoe.
