Give Paul a call at Appledoorns to see if there is ice on the east side. There is the ramp just south of Doe Island, that is the only one I think might have a chance to be open.

My buddy Travis is headed up that way tomorrow and Sunday. If there is a way, he will be on the water. If he gets on the water I will put up a post with the open access.

Even if that one is free of ice, the water is too low to launch any bunk style boat or larger roller/split trailer. Unless you want to get wet wink

For the 2008 and 2009 winter, lets hope for early ice and a ton of snow.

Steve,

North Garrison access is (was) still open as of today. There was a boat out on Garrison Reef.

Paul, is this the ramp just south of McDonald's or the ramp north of Garrison?
Thanks.

That landing is still open today. The Garrison access is also useable just might have to break a little bit of ice with the trailer, but the wind has broken it up.
