FishingMinnesota’s official fishing league is about to begin!!
Leading Edge Tournament Series 2004 Statewide Division.

We are little under a month away from our first event on Cass Lake. There are still some openings left.

This year, in order to get more people involved and give more teams the opportunity to fish these great events, we have opened up team registration on a single event basis.

Yes, you can still register for the entire series, with the added benefit of competing for the end of the year payout, but for those teams out there who just want to find out what LETS is all about or teams that have scheduling conflicts, this decision was made with YOU in mind!

What is LETS? It is a multi-species, team format fishing league. In the Statewide division, it is set up as a two day contest. First day fishing the evening and the second day fishing the morning. Winners are determined by overall weight of fish caught. Lets represents all levels of fishing skill and knowledge. LETS participants have fished out of everything from 12ft Jon boats to 20ft Rangers.

What do you get out of LETS?

First off, we fish some of the states most diverse and productive waters, providing all teams with a good chance of competing.

Secondly, LETS members are more than willing to share information on techniques, location and presentation to better your success. Everyone who fishes LETS has come away learning something new about tourney style fishing. If you have ever thought about trying out your skill in a low pressure, fun event, LETS is for you.

Thirdly, LETS gives you a great opportunity to meet fellow FM’ers and make friendships that last. Many of us now fish year round together and stay in constant contact. The Saturday night meal which is provided and is paid for through league dues, is a great chance to sit back, relax, trade tips and just have general all around fun.

Lastly, LETS gives you a low pressure venue to hone your tourney skills. Some of LETS former members have gone on to fish the RCL, MWT, and other large tourney circuits. Many LETS members have also gone on to become moderators and prostaff for FishingMinnesota and equipment manufacturers.

Cost for LETS is $300 per team to fish all 4 events, or $75 a team for individual events. ($50 entry fee plus $25 league dues)

For more information, check out the official LETS website at-
Please visit the LETS website for info too.

See you there!
