The water temps there were 78 degrees. WAY TO HOT!! for anything. That warm water means the plant is running and the cooling towers are being used. When this happens, shad get sucked in and turned to minsmeat before being expelled out of the discharge. This is when the larger fish move in to feast on the easy meal. Warm water from the plant this time of year usually means good fishing.
