Over all the fishing on the Red is not great. There are a few people catching fish, but overall the bite is weak. The water temps should be better after the cold wet weekend we had. Fish are moving down the lake from the north. I suspect if the bite picks up it won't be till after the 20th.

The bite on the Winnipeg river seems to be a lot stronger, both in the river and at the mouth of the lake. There was a tournament there this weekend and they did well.

Just my observation's and opinion.........

Lee
