Haven't been up there in a couple of weeks but I will be up there this weekend bow hunting and grousing. Are the leaves changing, is there any falling yet??

None falling ,but the are turning colors.

I take that back....some are falling in the lot today.

Are the leaves dropping yet? It looks like there is a pretty good wind today, just wondering if they are falling yet. I bet everything is pretty colorful??

Some have fallen ,but most of the birch and popples are up and so are the oaks.
The good news for hunters is that some of the under brush is done.

The wind is knocking plenty down today, but it just leaves (ha ha) a nice carpet of yellow on the trails. There are plenty up on trees through the weekend for sure though.

Any grouse in the Kinberly WMA? Any success with anyone around that area in any of the wma's around aitkin, mcgregor, or glen?

Actually I have not wet a line since Feb.14,taking care of a commitment ya know.
That's over so I am going to Ashland to fish those smallies in 13 days.
I'll have a ton of pics and videos from the trip.The way it sounds is that we will be in 3-5 lb.smallies all day.

Yeah I've heard stories about the smallie fishing there. Should be a great time fighting them piggies. ole

I've got a brand new rod I'm so pumped about getting bent.

Ice is not too far away either.Hooked up on a bunch of new gear to work out .

Hopefully those fish cooperate this year and jump out of my hole like they are supposed to do.
