Coming up this weekend with my 3 sons to take lift and dock out on Boot Lake. Any word in fall bite for walleyes did ok on Potato last year.

Tried Boot for walleyes on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Didn't catch a single walleye but caught a lot of small bass, small northers and finally caught really nice a 24" northern. Sure was fun!

So far the weather should be great for the weekend. Steady weather through most of the week with SW,W,NW winds all week. We also have the full moon so fishing should be good. My father went out on Potato last week and picked up a couple of eyes but this week should be better. Also, heard fishing is picking up on the Bottles.

big eyes are biting in shallow water, i was home for a wedding and my father and i got out on sunday, only got one but it was 6 lbs on a crank, however a few friends were on the lake the day before and got 7 between 22" and 29". all near shallow structure.
