Going up this weekend for some grouse hunting and walleye fishing. My dad's friend who lives up there has been doing great with the eyes. Going to be a fun and wet weeknd but hopefully the lake Produces a good time like usual.

Looking forward to your report on both your activities. We head up next Wednesday for a long weekend for the same type of trip.

Good Luck!!!

With the thunderstorms we didnt get to do to much this weekend, but we managed to go walleye fishing early morning saturday. CAught around fifty walleyes all around 14 to 17 inches. MY dad caught a 24 25 and 27 inch eye with them all having some nice girth to them. The fish were definatly healthy. Sunday morning we were delayed by thunderstorms and ended up going out at around 8:30. Didnt catch as much but still quite a few. HAd a 33 inch pike on and though it was going to be an expensive walleye but, at least it was the only one caught over the weekend. No grouse hunting though, the rain didnt stop long enough to make my dad go out. Fun weekend though

Sounds fun, what bait are the walleye's hitting on this time of the year up there? I'm going up later this week to do some Muskie fishing and get a few walleye's for the freezer.

Maybe we'll see you one the water DinkAdunk. I'll be there Wednesday night through Sunday morning. I'll be in an old blue Lund Predator with a 60 ho Mercury tiller on the back.

I have a Lund 1800 Fisherman with a couple of white Johnson motors on the back (140HP and 9.9HP) either casting for Muskies or trolling fro Walleye's.
