Hi folks - I know the current economic conditions aren't the best but thought I should let fellow FMers know about a awesome opportunity to buy in on a cabin on Ottertail lake. A resort on the west end is looking to sell cabins off and form an association. The cabins are small. 2 bedrooms, a small bathroom but the main area has a huge picture window that gives the best view of sunrises of any property on Ottertail!!!!! The resort has a total of 7 cabins with 6 remaining as my wife and I have purchased one. The current owners plan to stay in the house and keep up the outsides(cut grass, put out/take in docks, lifts, swim area) and they are the nicest folks you could ever meet. All you need do is show up and play. There is a game room for kids & plenty of room to park your boat. As I said my wife and I bought in and spent a number of weeks in our cabin. It was an unbelievable fun summer. The listed cost is $115,000. If you've looked around you know you can't come anywhere close to this cost on Ottertail let alone right on the water(10 steps to the lake!) I'm not a relator trying to make a sale, just trying to get the rest of the cabins sold for the folks so the association can be formed. If you have questions let me know and we can touch base.

yep. Although the listing identifies it as Sunrise Shores I believe.

Spent many , many years going up to Nifty Nook Resort. The original owners, Cal and Mary Stoller were great. Jeff and Dede are great people too, who we now consider friends. While it's and odd feeling seeing the resort cabins being sold, I fully understand and respect their decision and hope it works out for the best for them.

Believe me, if I had the money, we would be neighbors up there! That lake is incredible.

In the Fergus Falls Century 21 office listing look up Lakeshore Residential listing #08-1717. Doesn't show much from this view - it's the view in the other direction that can't be beat.
