Surly is one of the most wonderful beers out there right now! I just went to the autumn brew review in minneapolis this weekend, and surly was the busiest tent in the place. I discovered bender a few years ago, and buy it every once in a while. I brew my own, and am always trying new things, but surly is wonderful. I also love newcastle, as my avatar can atest to. I do keep Grain Belt on tap, but I am really considering Surly bender for my next keg, even though it is 3 times the price of Grain Belt.

Sleeman quit exporting to America! Darn Canucks! Incredible beer... just no longer available... at least according to my liquor store.

Good Luck!

If you ever go to Australia, ask for a VB or Victoria Bitter. Ask for a Fosters and they will laugh you out of the place.

Another great aussie beer is Coopers Sparkling Ale. I've only been able to find it at Surdyks.

Anyone ever tried Lindemans lambics? Their belgian beers. It's almost like a champagne. But they come in cherry, raspberry and blackberry. Corked and ready to go. They're a good sipper, but at $9 bones a bottle, a little on the expensive side!

Miller Lite just put out a pint aluminum bottle, different than the one Bud has had out for awhile. The Miller version is the same size around as a can of beer, only slightly taller than a 12 oz can, and it has the Mickeys Big Mouth style cap and top on it. Keeps the beer ice cold

I feel sorry for people that drink Miller Lite and Mich Golden Draft Lite. It's not that they taste bad it's that they don't taste at all.

I'm having Surly Two Below tonight and Paulaner Oktoberfest tomorrow.

A new favorite of mine... Spotted Cow by New Glarus Brewing in Wisconsin... two thumbs up!

Good Luck!

R U a beer snob?? LOL j/k I like a lotta diferent beers from lite to dark. If I'm gonna sit by the fire and tip back a half dozen, Bud Lite is just right. I don't care for the Bud Select. I like Sam Adams Boston Lager. But I don't needd that much flavor all the time.

I hear that. There's a difference between a good beer to sip on, or a beer that I can drink more than 3 or 4 of them. I'm all about a good beer, but if you're on a mission with your buddies, (for me), it's gotta be something of the lesser quality.
