I usually hit the lake when everyone is gone thats why we miss each other, last one on last one off type of deal and I usually never see another hunter either cept for the guys that I hunt with. Sometimes I see some boats up by the island but I'm wearing binoc's to see them!!
if thiers a maroon expedition, maroon sub, gray jeep, and a blue jeep I'm usually on the lake.

sheesh, what kinda boat do ya use to lug all those decoys...a barge? wit that many decoys it must be really time consuming but maybe its worth it that being said ya do really well. What about mallards, get shoots on them or is it divers later in the season? we were there las yr towards the end n there were quite a few mallards out in the middle.Well they went ou 2 feed so we thought n never returned.lol guess thats how it goes sometimes.

70-90 floaters do you hunt out of a pontoon or do you make 17 trips to the truck? wow

migration would have already passed through the state by the time you get 90 floaters out

We hunted over 75 plus floater goose decoys last weekend 2 14' boats 4 adults 1 & 12 year old kid and a dog. The key is tangle free line and pass thru weights. We make our own weights. no wrapping decoys. Takes us 10 min tops in and out. Forgot to mention Mean Joe Green (1 GW teal decoy) Later in the year the 4 -5 of us will put out in excess of 125 goose floaters.

norwall, I will watch for the lil ka
on a side note I do all my hunting on public water thats why we all have so many decoys and that many rigs sometime we will split up and hold a couple spot till light and then all gather up and put the smack on them the only spot I hunt late is min lake becuase I just know were to be whenI dont wanna get up early.

so does anyone have any new reports on how the duck huntin has been as of late ? recent rains should have spiked water levels some. Seems farmers have been gradually gettin the beans out. As I drove around I didnt see much 4 ducks, few teal here n there n woodies. Seems like a few more geese around.A guy i know had a helluva time gettin thru the channel @MN lk.Any1 been up 2 swan or other lakes around there ie.walnut or freeeborn co.

Been tough all around the New Ulm area, we only scratched out a few this weekend, very disappointing. Heard of 5 groups on Swan, ~20 hunters with only 3 birds.
