I'll be out there. Some friends from up nort are coming down to help me shoot at a few. I'll be hunting mostly public land around Avoca, Iona, and Slayton.

Who else will be out at 9:00 am on Saturday???

Have a safe weekend everyone. Gotta go do my part to claim another World Title! Be back on Tuesday, so save some birds for me. Most of all, be safe, have fun and take a youngster out and introduce them to the outdoors!

We will hunt the last half hour of the day if it isn't raining. Way, way too much corn in the fields and not a very good weather forecast to get too serious yet. Will do some ducking also early Saturday morn.

there was a ton of corn in last year too. it was kind of a let down. in two days the longest we were out (with the corn in) was 30 minutes for 6 guys.

i kind of at least expected to get a work out.

crappies and cats, You saying you got your limit, or you just didn't hunt much?

I wont be out opener, but probably the next weekend. It'll be fun to see the dog in action and drop a few birds

we got our limit that fast with the corn still in. it was pretty awesome, but at the same time anticlimatic
