Anyone know anything about the new baitshop in Monticello?

Drove by there tonight after work but it was closed.
Through the windows I could see a fair amount of ice fishing gear and tackle, but I didn't see any evidence of live bait.
Maybe in a back room or something...anyway...anyone been in there yet?
Highway 25 south sharing a building with Walt's Pawn and Gun.

stopped in yesterday afternoon... seems like it has promise, I think. spoke with one of the owners, yes it is attached to the pawn shop. I asked what their plans were, what sorts of fishermen they planned to cater to, and they said they would be happy to make accomodations to those who had specific requests, so long as it didn't run contrary to good business sense. I have a request in for larger thin wire circle hooks, for cutbaiting channel cats, and larger suckers. I did forget to request that she save the suckers that croak in the tank for cutbaiting. price structure seemed to be in line with what Shuman's had. right now they are still recieving stock... and the shelves will flesh out in time, they tell me.

hours are 7-5 for now, until they get fully stocked... then it will be 7-7, 7 days a week.
they had several flavors of minnows, from fatheads to suckers, and at least the sucker pricing was on par with what Shuman's used to run- six or seven bucks a dozen for med. suckers.
They also had crawlers and will have leeches when leech season happens again.

I may have to stop there. Did you ask if they sell licenses? That always gives me a reason to go buy more shiney things.

The only baitshop currently in full stock is Tesoro (old Conoco). Toms, now called Pikes, is also trying to get bait. They are south of town.
