Wondering the same thing?? If a person were to come up end of Oct (24th & 25)or would it be better fishing later? Been up there many times for early spring, but I have never been up there for a fall or late fall fish trip. I have always heard good things from guys that do go up. Any insight would be appreciated. Of course weather plays a big role in this, but thoughts?

I go on m.e.a. weekend every year, around the 15th.Usually air temp between 20-55 range last 10 years.norm in the 40's.1 year we went again the following weekend & it was brutal, also froze over the following week,1st week of november.I prefer mid oct. myself. The reports might not say it yet,but fishing has always been very good for us then.9 days till we head up! I cant wait!
Fish on....

Late October/Early November...Both can be fantastic barring any major weather/water problems. Think positive and you will hammer the fishes!
