That's a really nice price for that full ready-to-go kit. I use that body for one of my backups, and it would be a great camera for someone who has been considering upgrading from their point-and-shoot.

Rodmaker if you want to check out a couple of photo sites that have want ads on them you should [YouNeedAuthorization] POTN and Fredmiranda. They both have places to sell used equipment. There was a 10D Canon on Fredmirnda for $260 and only 1 owner and that included shipping.

POTN is a tremendously active buy and sell board, and they only offer Canon.

I would only have a Canon. I've had good luck with them. I had my old 35mm for 19 years before it finally died.
