You can split those stats for home and away. They are actually pretty good at home, but they are AWFUL away from the Metrodome.

Thanks....makes sense now, but then there are still a lot worse. And even the ones in contention are not at the very top.

I think this one sentence says it all,

In 14 games since Aug. 23, the Twins bullpen is 0-7 with a 6.49 ERA and has blown four consecutive save opportunities and six of its past eight.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and state that the closer role with a five run lead against poor teams with no power hitters in the lineup should be given to Mr. J. Crain. Lights out, baby.

ugh. today you can probably blame the bats just as much as the bp. two runs ain't going to win a whole lot of games and when you have to rely on the bp, this has been the typical result as of late.

That Mijares looked very good when he pitched tonight. I know it's only one inning, but he looked dang good. He was throwing a 93 mph fastball and his breaking pitch was awesome. Plus, he's left handed. Why they would even play Guardado is beyond me. All the throws is strait 85 mph fastballs, or should I say, meatballs. Lets hope this guy can continue to do good.

I'm a little nervous with all the bp pitching used in the double header. Hopefully we can get a little deeper with the starters in the next couple games because I know about who's turn it will be to be coming out of the bp.

I don't think they threw Crain or Matty G today. It's also why we saw all the other arms. I was hoping that Cuddy could have gotten a couple more ABs too...we need him ready down the stretch. Blackburn for 7 tomorrow, the Crain or Matty G and Nathan might not be need tomorrow either. Baltimore is out of pitchers too, so that should help some.

here's to hoping that matty g and crain are not needed. Kind of wish they would have been used on saturday in the blowouts; although they may not have been blowouts had that happened.

The Orioles didn't have any pitchers to start with!

After watching Korecky & Majares, if I'm Gardy, I'm thinking "One more eighth-inning meltdown & I'm going with the kids".

I hope even Gardy is starting to think this and that's saying a lot for MLB managers who are pretty set in their ways on numbers, match ups and using experience whenever possible.

Yet another 1-run lead blown by the bullpen in the 8th. Way to go Guardado. Huge come back thrown in the garbage by the garbage bullpen. Can't blame this one on Liriano. All the meaningless gems he has thrown with no offense.
