Sounds that way. I read a fantasy recap where someone asked a knee specialist about the video and he seemed to think it would be the less serious PCL, and that Brady might be able to play again later with a brace.

The hit didn't look that bad. I have definitely seen worse, must have been at just the right (I guess wrong) angle to cause a ton of damage.

The NFL's official website announced Brady's season is done. F.A. Chris Simms is flying in tomorrow to work out.

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) -- New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is out for the season with a left knee injury that will require surgery.

The 2007 NFL Most Valuable Player will be placed on injured reserve, the Patriots said Monday, one day after his knee was injured in the first quarter of a 17-10 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs.

A statement issued before coach Bill Belichick's news conference said Brady will have surgery, ending his 128-game starting streak, the third longest for a quarterback.
