I'll throw this question out there-------I see that they will be having a show for portable conversions down in the cities. How about we have one up here in the Fargo/DL area???? Anybody else up for something like this??????????

If I wasn't so busy this fall I'd consider throwing one together, but there's no time. Hopefully someone else can get the ball rolling on this; sounds like a great idea. Might also be a good way to meet other FMers and get some winter fishing trips lined up.

I think it sounds like a very good idea....count me in.

No---I just threw this out there to see if there is interest??? I haven't the foggiest idea what might be involved to pull this off. It sure would be nice if we could find someplace to have this. I was thinking maybe one of the sports places in Fargo. Sportsman,Scheels, maybe in their parking lot. When do these places set out their ice fishing gear??? Maybe sometime after the gear hits the shelves. Anybody else got any ideas?????

I was up in Fargo today and was talking to the fishing dept mgr of one of the sporting houses and he thought it was a good idea. Said he would be talking to his suppliers to see what he could work out. They don't stock ice fishing gear until mid october. Maybe we can get this thing to work out yet.

I talked to Rich last night at Sportsmans Warehouse and he seemed very interested in hosting the event.

looks like the portable mod show might be a go in Fargo some time later in October. Should know more next week

I will be in Denver from October 8th till October 16-17th so if this happens anytime other then that, count me in to help if you need it dairyman.

I'd be interested especially since I don't have a great imagination, and am not a carpenter. It would be a great idea, I think I need a new 2 man anyways.

OK------here's the latest----there will be a modification show at Sportsman's warehouse in Fargo on the 15th of November. So far they have commitments from Nature view(Marcum)and Eskimo. They are looking for more sponsors to come on board shortly. I will keep everyone posted with any future developments. So lets get out there and get MODIFYING. I've just started mine....
