I fished the Minnesota tonight and almost did not get my boat out of the landing.
The last 3 feet of the landing has a drop in the cement slabs. Between the slabs there are openings about 4 inches wide. I loaded my boat and started to pull out when the middle of the trailer frame caught in the open slot as the landing drops off so bad.
I had to back down a foot or so, let the boat back on the trailer so the majority of the weight was on the rear of the trailer and that raised the trailer up in the middle and the front.. Now, I found two big tree branches and filled the open slot on the ramp and pulled out.
I will not be going back to this landing as one could do some serious damage to their trailer frame. be very carefull if you have a heavier boat.
