My cousin got a nice pike yesterday, 12lbs on the scale. Fished 3 hours before we got anything other than tiny bass and a bullhead, made it worth it for sure! He threw out his sucker minnow right on the edge of the thick weeds and later he pulled it a few feet to make sure it wasnt in weeds and this thing exploded on the minnow flippin in the water as he was dragging it, was pretty cool! Perfect lip hook and quick release, catch her next year @ 14lbs. I really got a get a digital camera, using camera phone sucks.

Nice fish! There are some nice pike in the metro, but you have to work for them!
