I really wanted a better photo of a kingfisher, so I went back yesterday morning with my blind. I knew they couldn't stay away from this snag. It took about a half hour, after I set up the blind, for one to return. I've fullfilled my mission. grin

Congratulations X! Those are really fantastic images. I really like them all but especially the look back Kingfisher and the 3 doves. Great comp on those. I like the way you cropped the KF in the upper corner with looking back into the picture to the lower right. That really is the best way to crop that IMO. The 3 doves are great because of the simitry(sp). You should've had that middle on look at you like the other 2 did. laugh I know you're really good with the trained birds.

Thanks guys, for all the comments. It was a very satisfactory week. I had been wanting a good shot of a hawk and also of a kingfisher, and I got them both. I've heard there is a green heron in the area, so that's next on my list. A guy needs to have goals. grin However, it would be awesome to get a shot of a kingfisher as he hits the water, when fishing. I don't believe I've ever seen one. That's going to be tough. Anyway, on to my next mission.

Nice work! You now have a kingfisher honey hole so to speak. Good shots.
