The 80 definitely moves the boat... no problems in wind put it that way I'm going to look into the new Crestliner Raptor. It'll be coming out next season. This boat is quite the rig. It still floats in less than a foot of water but handles larger waves and lakes much better. Also has a huge casting deck. Stock standard at around 18-feet... Or else I'm going to jump into an 1850 FishHawk and upsize the motor a bit... I've also contemplated just sticking with another 1750 because I'm used to how it fishes and I don't have any complaints... The 1750 FishHawk in my opinion is one of the most versatile boats. I could drop it in just any any lake no matter the conditions. It also handles very well and fishes very nice...
