Was out on Chisago this evening and the fish were not too hungry, but the clams were.

I was out on Chisago y-day morning... And did quite well once I figured out how slugish the fish were. I'm not sure I felt too many bites, just had weight all of a sudden. And once hooked, the bass never jumped. Something had them off, but I was still able to catch quite a few with 7 over 18".

Dietz, I thought that was your boat on Chisago - working solo. I would have made it over and said hi, but was with a freind that doesn't get out much, and we were on only out for a short time.

It was a bit nippy early, but it was a great morning to be out on the water. Glad to hear you had some good success.

We didn't have much luck with the clams ... must have been using the wrong bait smile
