Brule is definitely on to something here!!! Like his liberal brethren digging feverishly into Mrs. Palin's background, he has uncovered a veritable nest of racist vipers on the shores of Pend Oreilles. Check out the bios on these radicals. http://www.cityofsandpoint.com/mayorcouncil.aspBruledrifter has just established himself as the definite "go-to guy" for legitimate information and hard facts. Are you up for a job with the DNC? You know absolutely NOTHING about me there, Jack! I am not part of the "liberal brethern"! And it's typical of the right wingers to immediately just label someone that if they even dare question someone in their party. Accept it! I just don't like a lot of the things she believes in, and it's probably a reflection of being raised somewhere where there are A LOT of radical groups in an area. She is easy on the eyes, and it's great she's into fishing and hunting, but does that make her qualified????

I'm not the one carelessly and falsely labeling someone else as being in the KKK. You did that all on your own, and apparently don't like it when someone calls your outright falsehoods what they are. Unlike you, I took a few minutes to gather up some actual information about the actual mayor. Interesting concept, eh? Politics and political discussions get nasty enough without making up smears. As for labeling you as a "liberal", I apologize to the usual liberal suspects here with whom I and others have had rational if sometimes spirited discussions. I was unfair to them, and apologize for associating them with your post and my response.

Talk about a smear. What kind of response did you expect?

Look, I'm done here! I know better then to hang around in this. Still wondering why I put myself in it, actually! D'oh!
I wasn't alligning her w/ the KKK AT ALL! That came out wrong.
All I was getting at is her heritage is from a region of the country that breeds radical beliefs and hate! I've been there, I've seen it first hand!
How heavily she was influenced has yet to be determined. But by hearing some of her beliefs, it sounds like she was at least influenced a little. Makes me queston her a little more...I saw some strange things out there, let me tell ya!
She moved from Idaho when SHE WAS AN INFANT !!!!

Are you saying that all of our political leaders should come from the east coast? Look around a little right here in MN and I am sure you will see some more strange things.

Wasn't the thread about the speech? Ummmm, yes! But that was a LONG time ago. I think is was a couple days. That's like a century in Internet time. The period I spent in Idaho was different than Brule's. I met a lot of cool people, and a few putzes. Not much different than my time in Colorado, Texas, New Mexico, Wyoming, Montana, South Dakota, Kansas, Nebraska, Florida, Maryland, Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota and North Dakota, and blah, blah, blah. Oh, didn't mean to leave out Canada, where they have REALLY cool beer and especially colorful money and no more jerk-baits per capita than the American West, I'll bet.

Hmm. Boy oh boy - you've really got me with this one! Is this like the "all people from Kentucky are hillbillies who marry their cousins?" You must be a widely traveled man my friend. There's an old saying about stopping digging when you find yourself in a hole.

"all people from Kentucky are hillbillies who marry their cousins?" So is it still true that if you get a divorce in Kentucky you're still brother and sister.

She moved from Idaho when SHE WAS AN INFANT !!!! True, but didn't you know all your political influences along with life long beliefs and practices are instilled in your first couple of weeks of life?

A few points to ponder:
1. Since when does being lauded as a moose hunter give one the credentials needed to be president?
2. Is it me, or do you think some of the "drill Baby Drill" signs hoisted during her speech were NOT referring to ANWR, but something else instead?
