Whats with you people and thinking she hasn't talked about any issues? Did you watch her speech??

Didn't Palin get a librarian fired because the librarian would not remove curtain books from the library. Censorship and book burning will go good with Cheney's' spying on us.

Apparently her husband is not to happy living as an American because he wants Alaska to secede. She also has gone to at least one of these meetings on secession. Does she want to leave or stay.

This thread is so funny... So many people are so misinformed... Sad really when the media dictates your decisions on the next president of your country... And even more sad when you vote for the next president based solely on outdoors stuff... Reps do nothing for the outdoors and neither do the dems, it's us the people who do... BTW I'm middle of the road and not sure who I'm voting for but after watching the speeches no one on here can honestly say that McCain makes any sense, he's lifeless and boring.... Obama has charisma and so far thats got my vote... As for Palin, I'm not voting for a VP I'm voting for a President! So the reps need to convince me that they are really serious about this election, because so far only the dems are proving to me they are working for my vote...

I personally am voting for both. Let's not forget 911 when Bush was absent the White House, it was Chaney who was at the helm making the decisions. Personally, I would rather have Biden in that situation over Palin. The last thing I want is a VP who would react to that situation by saying it was God’s will that we were attacked.

And to this whole executive experience thing where we keep hearing how she is more experienced than the other three combined. Jessie Ventura has more executive experience than Palin, but I don’t want him within a hundred miles of the White House.

I guess I'm too simple to get where so many Democrats are coming from, I "trust" (I use that term loosely) people with a similar background and a history of commitment to the Greatest nation on the planet over people with a promise of "change." I have yet to hear how Obama is going to cut taxes on the middle class, balance the budget, and pay for health care for everyone. Raising corporate taxes is really going to help out the unemployment by the way, corp. taxes are among the highest in the world and with so many other countries feeling the economic crunch they'll be fighting to get a piece of there business. I'm not sure if anyone knows this or not but the president has a Cabinet, this is where experience in particular areas, such as foreign affairs comes into play, the President does not "rule" the country and make decisions on his or her own, thank God. As far as Palin saying "it's God's will" I'd rather hear her say that than "it's allah's will." Not implying that we have a muslim candidate, it's just God is/was a very key part of out countries very existence, and someone that won't acknowledge that scares me. Use a little common sense when voting, vote the person, not party.

She talked about energy and drilling. That is an issue.

I have not heard of this. But, just because somebody goes to a meeting doesnt mean they agree with whatever the meeting is about. I would like to see some facts about the Alaska deal because this is news to me.

You are correct about questioning Obama's tax cuts & spending plans. But an honest approach would be to also question how McCain is going to pay for extending the Bush cuts, enacting his own, & not explode the budget. If you haven't thought about that angle, you should.

Is this all you have? Library books and meetings?

I believe Obama has plans to increase the size of government, while McCain will spend more on national defense, will off set that with cutting out wasteful "bridges to nowhere" scams. I think Palin has more of a proven track record with this than anyone else. I do take issue with more taxes on the wealthy because it simply creates less incentive for the low to lower middle class to work themselves out of a situation that they most likely have put themselves in. By the way being born and raised in the poorest county in MN by a single mother, I feel I can talk candidly about this subject. Just my 2 cents.

Yea, that was blown way out of proporsion. I guess since in Gorgia they still have the dixie flag, that anyone from there wants to secede from the states as well? Croix, you're better than that.

St Croix doesn't provide facts- just unproven chatter.
