that the North Star Fall Walleye Classic is being held Friday & Saturday, October 3rd & 4th on beautiful Lake of the Woods based out of the Wigwam Resort.

The fall classic is limited to 75 teams, and based on a full field, will pay $10,000 first place. And, don't forget about the $500 Lund Owner Contingency prize to the highest placing Lund team + big fish prize money for each day.

This tournament is always a lot of fun but it's even better with lots of boats to fish against. The way the fall bite is going, it should be incredible fishing by then. Especially since the fish are still piled up like they are outside the gaps all the way to Zipple.
I even noticed one of the resorts up there is offering a lodging special of $25/night per person for all of Sept. & Oct. It's impossible to find lodging anywhere that cheap, so no excuses for anyone to miss it this year. You don't burn a drop of gas anchored up jiggin' all day!
