Will be heading to the chain in two weeks and am looking for some tips or pointers. Am bringing several friends with so I would definitely like to get on some fish. We are staying on Rush, bringing one boat up and renting another. Would be great to find some eyes, but panfish and pike would be nice too. Any input, advice, or general info would be deeply appreciated! Thanks in advance!

on cross, fish the mid-lake structure. There are some little humps and bumps out there that hold a bunch of different fish. I have not fished it this year, but last year I was out there a lot. redtails and rigs in 15-30 feet.

I would put my money on fishing whitefish, mainly middle whitefish for walleyes, theres lots of them and big ones to. Breaklines adjacent to deep water will hold fish.

I agree with mudpig on the walleye locations and if you are looking for crappies or sunnies find the weedlines on cross or any of the lakes anywhere from 8-22 ft and jig in those area also check all depths in those areas as the crappies on Sunday were suspended right above the weeds in deeper water.....

I marked a lot of fish on a couple of the humps on Cross last weekend, but couldn't get any to bite and boat control was a bit tough with the high winds. Not sure if they were 'eyes or panfish. I tried a Shake-e blade and a gulp leech. Saw most fish in either 20ft or 29ft
