went out tonight from 6-10. I hit Andersons reef, red reef, and the shoreline with the boat laaunch. I tried jig and a minnow, jig and a leech, gulp, and rapalas.
We tried from 4 feet down to thirty and didn't get any walleyes. Did run in to some crappies along the way.
The fall bite is coming. just not quite yet.

We were on the west side last night from 6 to 10. We were in about 15 feet using minnows. We actually did pretty good. Found a few of them elusive EYES.

We had a small tourney out there last nite (wednesday). Walleye/Pan fish. Top weight for the nite was 1.2 lbs. No walleyes large enough to keep were caught. Slot of 16" I heard of 2 eyes out of 28 guys fishing. Even the panfish bite was off, 1.2 lbs for top weight and 5 panfish has got to be some kind of low record..................Still better than working though!
