Jury's still out for me. Just because she's a woman, doesn't mean I will automatically jump on that bandwagon.

I agree with you on that, I can say I probably wouldnt have voted for Hillary but this lady I like. She is all people men and women are talking about here.

I caught less than the last half of her speech. I was very impressed. Things that come out of her mouth don't sound like political sound bites. Agree or not, she can make her point clearly. Her speech abilities made me think, "That's how Bill got elected."

Please do not compare her to Bill. I love that he picked a woman to have as a running mate but I do not want a 44 year old anyone with relatively no political experience to be my president if Johnny boy kicks the bucket. I believe the whole situation with her daughter proves how two faced the religous right is. What is the almighty James Dobson going to say about this?

As someone closely familiar with the religious right due to my upbringing, they do not live in the real world. Fortunately, the last time I checked, the "almighty James Dobson" was not running for office. As someone who has generally voted Republican, I find it refreshing to have a nominee who seems to at least understand that. He has to court their votes to get elected, just like Barack has to court traditionally Democratic voters.

My question is this - why is everyone so concerned with specifically political experience? Leadership is leadership in my opinion, and either you can do it or you can't. She has as more credible, usable experience than Barack (executive vs. legislative) and if you elect him you are guaranteed to get someone who has never spent a second in that type of job. If you're basing a decision on political experience there is currently one option - McCain.

I was watching Cnn this am and they were talking about her and here is what they had to say. Someone wrote her a very good speach. The top 2 republicans stated they thought the Mccain made the biggest mistake ever picking her for his VP. Not my words but the republicans.

The same said about Obama. He makes a great speach but he's not saying anything, is whats being said about him. Neither really have any experience but people just dont like change they are afraid to have a woman as VP. He and his wife has put down America for years now they want to take it back. I wasnt sure about a woman in office either but I [PoorWordUsage] sure not going to vote for someone like Obama

How is this proving how two faced the religious right is? I don't care who it is, there is no family without problems. At least they are not hiding it, or blaming anyone else for it. Her daughter made a poor decision, and they are dealing with it. Much like other families would.

If you look at the history of the Presidency, there are more warts than roses.
