But Palin isn't really calling for any change, she defines change as "more of the same, but more sarcastic and faster and looser with the truth than Bush and Co..
I doubt it will fly.
Like I said before she is a bad caricature. Where has she said this? I have yet for any of them to explain anything in any detail. Either the left or the right.

Shame this hasn't gotten more coverage.
From the AP: The Tax Policy Center, a think tank run jointly by the Brookings Institution and the Urban Institute, concluded that Obama's plan would increase after-tax income for middle-income taxpayers by about 5 percent by 2012, or nearly $2,200 annually. McCain's plan, which cuts taxes across all income levels, would raise after tax-income for middle-income taxpayers by 3 percent, the center concluded.
If you're middle class you will recieve a bigger tax cut under an Obama presidency. Don't try to explain that. It will never fly here. Here is how in touch McCain is. For those of you on this board who are trying hard to make ends meet, keep the house, keep the job, pay bills and the like. In a recent interview, McCain did not even know how many houses he owns! I wish I had that problem. http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0808/12685.htmlI can honestly say that I will most likely not even exercise my right to vote in November. It will not matter in the long run. I'm middle class so no matter who gets in office I will get screwed in the long run anyway. Why is everyone so jealous of the rich? This is America, everyone here has the same rights and abilities to make as much money as you like. Quit blaming government for all of your petty personal struggles and take personal responsibility of your life.

It's simple Dave, with life comes the entitlement to have large returns on your investments, new vehicles, a "dream home", peace on earth, cheap energy, and the ability to do anything at any time. ....55,000 dollar bass and walleye boats, a lake cabin...government retirement, free government medical care, free government college education, the right to criticize those darn Chinese, as your driving to Wal-mart, ad. nauseum. You deserve all these things as a human being, and an American citizen Dave!

You'll have to vote for McCain to get that one.

I think the major point here is that you get what you put into it and the only person who limits what we earn is ourselves. That's how I see it.

I knew it was a great pick right from the get go, but didn't realize just how threatning this little gal from Idaho would be to the feminists and the left. I guess that snap wit and humor and humility along with family and a sense of country first are not their cup of tea. Thats OK I takes all types and thinking to make this country the greatest on earth.
Taking on big oil, and having her husband a member of the steel workers union, getting rid of corruption in her own state and leading by example, and sending money back to the people who it is intended for are not enough to get the left to think about voting for her. I'm still trying to find out just what the Obama and Bieden ticket have done for us as well.

Being jealous because someone has done better than me, or for whatever reason has more than me, isn't going to get me there.
There are people that make 20,000 a year, live in what many would consider junk,( a trailer, and old house...whatever), that pay their bills, don't have much money or material items and are happy.
Those are the truly rich!
Maybe I misunderstand a lot, and probably do. But it sure seems like there are those that like to perpetuate the "class warfare" type ideal.
The times they are a changing....

If you didn't hear anything that appealed to you last night during her speech, you should consider moving to Mexico. Nice passive comment, but it shows the true colors of conservatism. If people don't agree with you, then perhaps they're not welcome here anymore. Sounds like the exact opposite of what our country stands for. "weel if'n yuu dont likeit, thin yuu can geeet out!" LOL

Good point,
But did you miss the word" anything " because if you truley could not find a single thing to agree on then why put yourself through the misery of the greatest county on earth.

I almost forgot,
I don't agree with a lot of people and I will not welcome them here. Illegal Imigrants, Terrorists, forgein or domestic. Most others, please feel free to take advantage of all that this country has to offer and so many have died for.

some of you might like this, others probably won't, but it does point out the hypocrisy of the media (not that that's anything new) when dealing with their chosen candidates..... http://ccinsider.comedycentral.com/cc_insider/2008/09/jon-stewart-ann.html
