Got one last night.....

As Aanderud will attest to...River level is less than ideal and the fog tends to be a little heavier with the cool nights!!!

Gizzard, welcome to Fishing Minnesota and Hot Spot Outdoors!

If you can put up with the conditions, you can catch some nice Sept Flatheads.

Is anyone getting into the flat's lately? It's been almost a month for me since my last fish and I'm trying to break that streak this weekend.

Its been a week and a half since I had one, lots of channels, and a few toothy critters.

Good luck, water temps are way down and flats react accordingly.
(Slow way down) Action has been pretty slow across the board.
Give me some details on the hole that needs to be filled at the launch, I know a few that will probably be working off that area and would hate to see someone get hung up.... unless you filled it in already?

LFC, The whole is on the upstream side of the launch. I have suspicion to believe the pavers on that side might end shallower than the downstream side....the times i've seen other's launch out of there it has been on the downstream side during low water. I'm not sure if the condition of that side of the ramp plays a roll in that or not. I attempted to find and fill what I thought was the hole I was in....but it could have also been a seam between pavers as they have a pretty wide gap that could easily accommodate a truck/trailer tire. Either way I filled something big and gapping. It sure would be nice to fill those in with some smaller rocks before spring.
