Or how many friends you make when people find out you have a hound and some world class bird land! Has that dog pulled off a quadruple point and retrieve yet?

He's not quite at that level yet. LOL. Puppies tend to lose their heads a bit - besides he's not a pointer - he's a flusher.

In my training group, when a dog stops to relieve himself - they shout "Hey LOOK - your dog is pointing."

Just hunt him with a pointer! My brother-in-law's lab was one of the best pointer's I hunted with, but he's been hunting next to my Weim since his first hunt!

with 8 guys last year on the sunday of opener we finished in 26 minutes. it taught us a lesson for the season that if we wanted to have more fun you let a ton of roosters go and pick your shots. there wasnt a time last year where we didn't limit out [/quote]
Last year was a great year for the birds. Here's the result's of our "first push".

Nice pix PDOGG - I'm not sure I'll run into that type of hunting yet. I'm still locking down some local places to hunt. But I do have a spot Near Milbank SD that I can hunt which looks very promising....

They leave their CRP alone, out there, it seems....
