Those crappies were really fun. I went home with close to a limit of 9-12.5 inchers. 5 of those were over 10.5 inches. There's nothing like a stringer of nice slabs!!!

Had Kingfisher and Loos15 out with me today. We found Walli1 and didn't manage any eyes in the first area. We moved around looking for fish and they were kinda hard to find. Finally in my sixth spot I marked a good supply of fish. Trolled around through it and managed one crappie on a rap. Only had one rap out, other rods were using lindy. Moved up river to my seventh spot and mared fish solid from 12 feet down to 17 feet. Ran through there twice and got some sunnies and a couple of crappies. Went back to the sixth spot trying to get eyes and got nothing to cooperate. Went back up to seven, anchored and it was on. Used slip bobbers with fatheads in about 17 FOW and pounded crappies for over two hours. Most were 9 to 11 inches but kingfisher managed a few nice ones including a really big 12.5 incher that was real think. We had a blast. Wasn't the eyes we were originally after, but crappies taste good too. Beautiful day on the river for sure and you just gotta love watchin' the sun come up. There you go!
