They are still accepting entries... if anyone is looking for a good hook to join them and split the entry fee/gas, let me know! I am game.

Sandman we didn't do this site too proud. I don't think that there were more than about 10 teams that even a caught a legal fish. Blue and I caugt a ton of fish but nothing legal. If this would have been the river rat Blue would of won the big ugly going away with his 20+ buffalo carp. We went through a ton of minnows and grab a few 13-14" saugers but couldn't find anything legal. All in all a fun day but an expensive meal to say the least. A couple of weeks with these falling temps and the river will be poppin. Great time and a congrats to Turk who managed to find three legals. See ya out on the water. This is deffinetly my favorite time of year!!!!

Ditto to Turk and Shale.Three legals yesterday was good enough for 3rd place I believe.Fishin4 and Blueroof did very well even though the fish had to be 15inches to weigh.I think 1 fish won,8 lbs something caught out of pool three.I myself Caught nothing but Smallies and large Sheepy.Well,I gotta go and heal my fishin wounds with some crappie this morning, hope to see a good turn out for beanies.See you there.

If any of you are ever considering entering a tournament series I highly recommend this Full Throttle walleye series. The atmoshphere is fun and it's well organized, but above that they preach the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, which I need to hear more than on Sunday morning to stay "filled up" with the Lord.
It's a tough bite out there. Though cats, sturgeon, and bass are hitting walleye presentations so there is action. I've got a trip at noon today. I think I'll get fatheads and jig them up. BTW I like to use stinger hooks w/jigs.
Keep Catchin'
Turk

I think it funny to have a St. Croix Tournament when a majority are fishing wing dambs, pool 3 & 4 in the Mississippi.
If that was a TRUE St. Croix Tournament. they would close off fishing the Mississippi and have a spotter anchored down under the prescott bridge, not to mention the Wisconsin fisherman trolling with 3 hooks.

If this was a TRUE St. Croix contest I would be game,
with MN rules and MN 1 hook regulations.
Wisconsin 3 hook regulations probably come into play?

Hum but then no one would enter.

Fill up the TANKS and follow eveyone to the Vermillion river flowage. Good luck

WI guys don't get to use three lines, it's two per fisherman and Minnesota licensed fisherman can use two lines on the Croix as well. I don't think it woulda mattered if you had ten down this weekend. It was slow picken's anyway.
