This is going way off topic so I will not get into a long winded death penalty debate. I will say that if there is witnesses and it is a slam dunk then send them to death row. You KILLED someone what makes you think you should live after that. I have problems though sending someone to death row on circumstantial evidence. Thats as far as I am going to drill down on that subject in this thread. We all have different opinions.

I know what your saying she has a few double standards and contradictory things about. She proclaims to be a staunch feminist but she against pro choice. I'm not saying there is anything wrong about her beliefs but they do contradict

You libs. are beautiful. The typical arguement of "how can you be pro-life but for the death penalty"?? Come on. It's called common sense. A fetus is innocent of ALL wrong. A felon on death row has been tried and convicted of heinous crimes subject to death as penalty. I believe there may have been maybe a handful of overturned convictions out of the tens of thousands of death row inmates. That's such a weak and silly argument it's laughable. Just like when the libs. call themselves humanists and for the underprivilaged and yet always support abortion. How much more underprivilaeged can an un-born baby be??

And I don't know how much more blue collar, for the people, and genuinely middle class Governor Paline can be. I read about this little story today and thought it was beautiful. Apparently when she became governor she sold the state jet that the former (and may I say republican) governor bought. SHe sold it on ebay, with a profit, and gave the money back to the citizens as an energy rebate. THAT, my friends, is brilliant fiscal responsibility!! In otherwords she found something unnecessary and turned it into good. And that's the reason I'll vote for the repub. ticket this year.

I didn't call you a liar, I asked you to post where the fact lies (as in, can be found). You have already sufficiently answered the question by not giving a link or telling everybody where this info can be found. First be honest, regardless of party affiliation, then state your case with ACTUAL facts to back it up. I don't see the problem.

OK, I just re-read my post to CroixFlats.... while I don't specifically call him a liar, I sure do imply it. However, unless he (or anybody else) can provide me with some proof of this, I cannot change my stance. I've lived in MN for the last 17 years, and never, ever heard about Pawlenty, or any other state official, selling a state jet. Prove me wrong, and an apology WILL follow.

I'm gonna run for Mayor this year in my small town and I'm going to bypass the 2 year Gov stint and become president. I figure 1 year as mayor of St.Croix Beach oatta give me enough credentials for Pres. I might even loose a few pounds to even improve my credentials

Wade, I have a lot of respect for you and your posts, but I don't think that was really needed. If this election will show anything to we the people it should show that it doesn't matter if you are young, old, what race you are or what gender you are, you can actually run and (in at least on case) win the highest office we have.
