No, that makes her sound way way way better than Michelle Bachmann. Where is that from?

Well, glad I can flip flop all I want. After thinking about it further, she isn't a zealot for believing in creationism. She's an idiot for being duped by zealots with an obviously factually empty idea. Dinosaurs ruled! If she was pushing for creationism education in schools, I'd need to flop again.

DTRO, good stat, but really not too hard in a state where everyone expects an annual govt. handout, regardless of party affiliation. Alaskan's also have a interesting threshold for cronyism and disregarding questionable ethics.

I think he was an ironworker, about as blue collar as you can get. My dad was an ironworker. Also, isn't everyone in Alaska pretty much an outdoorsman or outdoorswoman? Duh, it's the only thing to do. On the bad side, she is a religious zealot as pointed out, much like my beloved rep Michele Bachmann. Hopefully Palin isn't as looney as Bachmann for her sake.

I'm excited, it's going to be an interesting election. Either way we the people win, whoever wins, we get rid of some of the same old same old insiders with their hands jammed in each others rear pockets and interests clouded by power and $$$.

I personally can't stand religious zealots, god is big enough for more than one religion IMO. But I'm not afraid if she gets elected, I don't think old gimpy dude is that frail and she's just a centerpiece anyhow. Plus Cindy McCain is definitely an alien. Have you seen her!?, she's a freak for sure. She surely has alien technology to keep that geezer chugging for 4 MORE YEARS.! I'm soo torn now. I don't really want capital gains taxes to increase, but will do so happily if Barack can get us out of the war. Killing is bad, worse than making loads of money without performing real work. Ha ha ha ha mad mad mad . This section of HSO is the funniest thing apart from the epic 20" box fan grin .

So, if we pull out of Iraq, and loads more people get killed, you'll be okay with it because it's not Americans? Please tell me/us what will happen if the US pulls out of Iraq, if not more killing. If you're really against killing, Obama is not the one to vote for.

Well, In my honest opinion I think this was a fantastic move by the McCain camp and I firmly believe this will be his ticket to the White House. I've spoken to three liberal thinking friends and I can honestly see the fear in their eyes. Sara Palin IS on the same thought train as most common sense thinking americans and that's why McCain/Palin will be our next President/V.P. of America. One other very important thing I'd like to point out. I hear this liberal argument that the war mongering republicans would never send their own children into combat. I do believe Governor Palin's own son is an infantrymen in the U.S. Army currently serving in Iraq.

This is beautiful and I love watching you Dems. squirm in your panties!!

The blood of this war is on the hands of everyone who initiated/supported it. You have to be smart enough not to put boots on the ground in tribal warfare areas. It never works and it's hard as [PoorWordUsage] to get out.

So we were the one's who oppressed those people with an iron fist and in cold blood, murdered, tortured and withheld from those people?? Why do you left thinking folks put all of the blame on america? Is there no responsibility to be put on anyone else?

You people truly amuse me---on one hand you wish for global economy , govt., the power of the U N, etc. and on the other hand you preach isolationism. "Are we so short sighted that we have forgotten the "Killing Fields" I ,for one 63 yr old veteran, have not

Would it be worse than us killing them as we already are? Loads of innocent people are being killed as is by US troops and civilian contractors on our dime. We are not in control of Iraq, if you believe we are, you're an easy sell.

The whole, "we need to stay cause it's the best for them" is dumb IMO. They want us out. It needs to end sometime.

War is war. It's an ugly thing and no one ever really wants it. Was it good to get rid of Saddam? I still think so. Would I like to see our men and women home safe and sound with their families? In a heart beat. It's costly to be in war and more so in lives and blood shed than money. But if we don't help other nations who does? I've said it before that I would rather keep terrorists busy in the sand than in my back yard. Yea, I know, the guy we really want is in Afganistan, but he's being kept in pretty good check and can't really move around as freely as he'd like. I'm sure we'll get him in good time. I really wish more vets from Iraq would chime in. I don't really know what it's like over there. You only hear the ugly from the media and I know there has got to be good as I've heard from a few vets.

Left-thinking folks. Good one. I'll go with correct thinking supporter of fiscal responsibility. Whether it means your war machine or someone else's incremental tax to fund more bureaucracy it's all the same to me, a deriliction of duty and an abuse of the taxpayer, see national debt.

In case you missed it Mr. Protector of the Free World, We we're the ones who went in on bogus info and with a total disregard for history. Feel free to vote to spend your money and your children's on cleaning up this ignorant mess.

There are a lot of bad people in this world. Until there is a legitimate, credible threat to me and mine, I'd appreciate a little less intrusion into my wallet.

Hey the Russians just killed some Georgian's. Let's go in there too. You can be the first one in line. Dude, where does it end?

The courage of anonymous posters on the Internet is inspiring. If any other belief system is ridiculed the culprit is taken to task for being intolerant. If the beliefs of Fundamentalist Christians are disparaged no one makes a fuss. My name is Keith Swenson and while I am a very bad Methodist I believe the Bible is the inspired Word. Call me an Idiot but let me know who you are.
